ZANTAZ REVAMPS MEGATAPE RESTORE DATA RESTORATION SERVICE

ZANTAZ Inc, a leader in compliance technology and electronic discovery solutions, announced its MegaTape Restore Data Restoration service, which restores over 3.6 million e-mail messages a day from backup tapes, has been further optimized to speed the process of restoring archived e-mail for legal and regulatory purposes. ZANTAZ made the announcement to coincide with its appearance at LawNet 2003, which took place Aug. 18-21 in Boca Raton, Fla.

By filtering restored e-mail and reducing duplicate subsets of data, customers can fine-tune their search for pertinent data for a more focused, efficient review of archived e-mail. ZANTAZ has also made it possible for customers to keep their restored data offline on a short-term basis, increasing response times to near-term requests.
