NETWORK ENGINES AND BOCADA DELIVER BackupReport Appliance

Network Engines Inc, a leading development, manufacturing and distribution partner for storage and security software and equipment providers, and Bocada Inc, "the Storage Intelligence Company," announced an agreement to develop, manufacture and distribute the industry's only agentless storage intelligence solution on an appliance. The appliance will be available exclusively through TidalWire, Network Engines' distribution operations. The BackupReport Appliance delivers a centralized view of all critical backup activity across multiple servers, backup products, operating systems and storage technologies.

The BackupReport Appliance enables enterprises, regardless of size and complexity of the storage network, to increase reliability while reducing data protection costs. BackupReport is the only storage intelligence solution that does not require deployment of software agents. Through four integrated modules, BackupReport collects, stores, analyzes and distributes information on data protection operations irrespective of the data protection architecture in use.
