PROCOM'S iSponsor PORTAL INTERFACE CERTIFIED CA SMART

Procom Technology, a leading provider of network attached storage (NAS) solutions, announced that its iSponsor Portal interface has been certified CA Smart with BrightStor Portal from Computer Associates International Inc (CA). The interface will enable users to manage a Procom NetFORCE NAS filer from within BrightStor Portal, the same access point where they manage all storage resource management functions.

CA's BrightStor Portal provides users with consolidated access to their diverse storage resources, storage management applications and critical information about their distributed storage operations. Its easily configurable browser interface gives administrators real-time access and control of all of their networked storage resources, regardless of platform, vendor or operating system.

Procom's iSponsor interface communicates directly with BrightStor Portal, the combined solution creating URL links that point to NetFORCE filers on the network. Accessing one of those links launches Procom's NAS Web management application.

CA Smart solutions are certified to integrate seamlessly with CA's industry-leading technologies, providing customers with substantial and immediate business benefits. In addition to the CA Smart certification of the iSponsor interface with BrightStor Portal, Procom also recently announced CA Smart certification for NetFORCE filers with CA's BrightStor Enterprise Backup 10.5.
