Gateway Selects Certance LTO Autoloader

Certance LLC, a world leader in innovative, cost-effective data protection solutions for companies of all sizes, announced that Gateway has adopted the Certance AL810 LTO Ultrium 1-based autoloader into its newest offerings of storage solutions for businesses and institutions. This Certance LTO 1 tape technology solution provides the capacity, performance and affordability that enable today's small-to-medium businesses (SMBs), corporations, government agencies and educational institutions to quickly realize a tangible return on investment.

The Certance AL810 autoloader is designed to hold up to eight LTO-1 cartridges in a 2U form-factor and provides enterprise-level functionality offering complete unattended weekly backup protection for small-to-medium business including enterprise-level workgroups.

The AL810 autoloader even allows companies with less than 200 gigabytes of data to perform unattended, complete backups on a daily basis for a full week by using a separate cartridge for each day of the week.
