iREADY UNITES iSCSI CONTROLLER W/ LAUNCH OF TARGET SOFTWARE

iReady Corp, a leader in complete iSCSI solutions, announced the iReady Target, a full-featured iSCSI target software suite for the storage networking industry. The stand-alone software product enables OEMs, integrators and partners to upgrade their existing install base to iSCSI. In addition, when iReady Target software is bundled with the company's award-winning ethernetMAXTM iSCSI controller and HBA product line, it provides a powerful combination to deliver low-cost line-rate hardware with best-of-class iSCSI initiator and target software to deliver intelligent IP storage networks. At less than half the cost of competing solutions, the iReady ethernetMAX controller is the industry's first integrated controller to incorporate hardware iSCSI acceleration, full TCP/IP offload, full line-rate IPsec, and a GigabitMAC and GigabitPHY into a single semiconductor solution. A key component for delivering comprehensive IP storage networks today, the iReady Target software suite provides customers, partners and storage networking OEMs with a low-cost enabling software solution for migrating existing products to iSCSI in a matter of minutes.

With the winning combination of the iReady controller, HBA product line and Target software, customers have the ability to network, consolidate and centralize management of direct attached storage (DAS) pools into a single IP storage area network. Enterprises can leverage their IP backbone to bring high-performance iSCSI capabilities into their existing Ethernet framework without introducing another expensive, proprietary storage network.
