ISILON, BRIGHT SYSTEMS DELIVER SOLUTIONS TO TOP VIDEO HOUSES

Isilon Systems, a premier provider of intelligent clustered storage systems for digital content, and Bright Systems, which designs, sells and integrates heterogeneous shared storage systems for post production and digital intermediate houses, announced at NAB 2004 an integrated solution that combines the companies' products for seamless interoperability and storage efficiencies for digital content companies worldwide. The Isilon and Bright Systems technologies provide an unmatched storage advantage to post production and digital intermediate companies today such as FotoKem.

Isilon and Bright Systems are tackling the growing digital content storage challenge, and through the agreement, are coupling the Bright Systems services and software packages with the award-winning Isilon IQ clustered storage system to provide fully-integrated solutions to content-centric companies. Bright System's software provides a cross-platform, facility-wide view of data stored across multiple shared file systems, while Isilon IQ is the industry's first clustered storage system optimized for digital content and is storing hundreds of terabytes of video, audio and image files from leading media and entertainment companies today.

Products and services from Bright Systems, including Bright DataMover, BrightCopy, Bright SAN Controller and Data Wrangler, provide FotoKem and others with efficiency and manageability of their NAS and SAN storage infrastructures.
