CERTANCE EXPANDS BUNDLING OF YOSEMITE TAPEWARE XE

Yosemite Technologies, a developer of multi-platform backup and recovery software solutions, announced that data protection products company Certance LLC has extended its relationship with Yosemite by bundling Yosemite's TapeWare XE software with Certance's Travan, DDS/DAT and CP3100 backup drive products. As part of a move to simplify its product line, Certance now includes world-class software with each drive to ensure that customers have a reliable, high-speed backup solution that is ideal for single server or desktop PC use.

Certance's decision to bundle TapeWare XE with its tape and disk-based backup drives extends a winning relationship begun with the Certance TapeStor DAT product line in 2001. Certance, which specializes in innovative, cost-effective data protection solutions for companies of all sizes, is the world leader in tape drive unit sales volume according to a recent Gartner analyst report.
