CreekPath LAUNCHES SOLUTION TO HELP ACHIEVE BUSINESS VALUE

CreekPath announced the launch of the CreekPath Path to Value solution, a combination of the CreekPath Storage Operations Management suite and an established delivery methodology that helps enterprise customers rapidly achieve business value from their storage infrastructure investments. In conjunction with this launch, CreekPath announced the newest version of its award-winning CreekPath Suite.

CreekPath is providing customers with tested, global scalability, freedom of choice, and an understanding of the storage supply chain for rapid business value through the Path to Value solution. The Path to Value is a realistic implementation path to achieving storage supply chain management through the implementation of the CreekPath Suite.

CreekPath's Path to Value roadmap illustrates, simply, the technology and the steps organizations should follow to best take advantage of their storage solutions while achieving real benefits and cost reductions as they move toward business driven storage supply chain management.

CreekPath also released version 3.2 of the CreekPath Suite today. With the design and performance enhancements in the product, CreekPath is addressing the need for scalability and cost effective, predictable storage service levels in large global environments.

The addition of a critical managed element dependency view enhances the storage value chain by providing the customer a view from any perspective. This allows clients to see interdependencies and relationships between all elements in the storage supply chain and provide on-the-spot troubleshooting. Now customers not only get a top down and bottom up view, they also receive an expanded view of the entire storage supply chain and all of the relationships and dependencies that affect performance; a true holistic management platform.

The CreekPath Suite has the most extensive storage array and interconnect device support in the industry and continues this support with the release of the CreekPath Suite 3.2. CreekPath has expanded this ecosystem with the addition of the discovery, visualization, monitoring and reporting on Sybase databases. The CreekPath Suite 3.2 displays and reports on Sybase database storage capacity, utilization and configuration solving the costly problems of over provisioning and over allocation of storage.

A member of SNIA, CreekPath is compliant with the existing Storage Management Initiative (SMI) specification. CreekPath supplements the SMI interface with native APIs to expose the unique features and capabilities of the installed storage elements. As a result, the CreekPath Suite enables automatic, policy-based workflow driven management of the storage components.
