RAID INC RELEASES PHOENIX STORAGE SYSTEM

RAID Inc, the Massachusetts based high-end data storage systems manufacturer and solutions provider, announced the release of the Phoenix line of Enterprise Storage Systems.

The Phoenix delivers a highly available, high performance storage solution with embedded Enterprise level management features such as remote replication, snapshot, storage virtualization, mirroring and storage provisioning. The Phoenix systems also offer flexibility and cost-effectiveness by supporting both Fibre Channel and Serial ATA disk drives, as well as combinations of both technologies within the same storage solution.

Each storage module accommodates up to fifteen hot swap disk drives in a compact 3U form factor, offering storage capacities of 4.5TB with Fibre Channel disk drives and 6TB with Serial ATA disk drives. The Phoenix also comes standard with hot-swappable controller(s), drive carriers, power supplies and cooling modules.

The Phoenix GUI Management Software allows monitoring and management of all functions, status and alerts through one interface. The Phoenix is also available with RAID Inc's StorageWatch 24-7 real-time remote monitoring and administration services.

The Phoenix storage systems are ideal for business critical applications that require continuous availability and disaster recovery. The Phoenix is perfect for environments such as high performance computing, digital video, financial services, health care, education, and manufacturing.
