NEXSAN INTRODUCES SATAblade SERIAL ATA SOLUTION

Nexsan Technologies announced the release of SATAblade, a powerful and cost-effective Serial ATA (SATA) storage system that delivers stunning performance for businesses requiring a scalable, high performance storage solution.

Supporting the latest 10,000 RPM SATA drives in an extreme density, low-profile form factor, SATAblade delivers exceptionally high performance for data-intensive storage applications and the small footprint solution can be easily optimized to meet either performance or capacity requirements. Featuring individual drive independence within a unique 1U physical architecture that maximizes airflow and allows easy access to eight hot-swappable SATA drives, a single SATAblade can easily store up to 3.2TB of data.

Nexsan is offering a bundled SATAblade solution consisting of three SATAblades with 24 high-capacity drives to deliver 9.6TB in a 3U footprint. This SATAblade configuration delivers sustained throughput speeds of 1048MB per second and 125,000 I/Ops, making the Nexsan product the world's fastest Serial ATA solution.
