Rockwell Adopts SenSage 3.0 For Security, Compliance Solutions

Addamark Technologies announced its name change to SenSage, Inc and solidified its position as a leading provider of next generation security information management (SIM) products with the launch of a new version of its product - SenSage 3.0. SenSage 3.0 adds a new real-time correlation and alerting engine, sophisticated multi-user support, an enhanced user interface and extensive reporting capabilities. Companies such as Rockwell Automation have adopted SenSage 3.0 to reduce the cost of security operations, protect against insider threats and ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and Graham-Leach-Bliley.

SenSage 3.0 Buys Business Protection For Rockwell Automation

"We are looking to SenSage as a way of streamlining operational processes for detecting security events and implementing internal controls that are key to regulatory compliance," said Brad Jobe, information security manager of Rockwell Automation. "SenSage 3.0's long term log management capabilities in combination with a real time correlation engine should be an excellent complement to our existing internal controls processes."

"SIM products must be capable of real time, correlation, alerting and reporting as well as extensive log collection, retention and analytics," said Mark Nicolett, research vice president at Gartner. "These capabilities allow organizations to stave off both external AND internal security attacks on the corporate network, analyze and understand a flood of security data, and comply with stringent corporate policies and government regulations."

SenSage 3.0 -- The Most Advanced Security Information Management Protection

Highlights of the enhancements with 3.0 include:

  • Real-Time Correlation Engine receives and processes streaming network, syslog, e-mail, tcp, and Windows data -- providing immediate important alerts about security threats and compliance breakdowns.

  • Integration and Extensibility Capabilities allow SenSage to forward events to enterprise security management products from Tivoli, HP, and others. Additionally SenSage supports alerts to pagers, phones and other applications and portals.

  • Enhanced User Interface and Reporting Capabilities enable SenSage users to get both real-time and scheduled reports, conduct ad hoc queries more easily and offer more granular control.

  • Support for multiple users includes the ability to customize system and report access with granular, role-based permissions, provide unique interface options by user type, and prioritize and schedule tasks.

"The name change to SenSage reflects our commitment to delivering intelligence and meaning from the endless log files IT management must sort through to identify and protect against both external and internal threats," said Jim Pflaging, president and CEO of SenSage. "With SenSage 3.0 -- we are extending our leadership in the SIM category by adding real-time correlation and alerting to our strong log data management and analysis capabilities."
