IDC SAYS ZANTAZ IS THE LEADER FOR EMAIL ARCHIVING REVENUE

ZANTAZ Inc announced that, based on 2003 revenues worldwide, it has been named the email archiving market leader. According to IDC's Worldwide Email Archiving Applications 2004-2008 Forecast and 2003 Vendor Shares Market Analysis Report, ZANTAZ had a leading 35 percent revenue market share for its hosted and onsite solutions.

The report, published by IDC examines the email archiving applications market by looking at solution providers and overall trends. It presents the firm's first market sizing and forecast for email archiving applications delivered as software, a hosted service or an appliance, along with 2003 vendor revenue and market shares.

According to IDC, worldwide email archiving applications revenue has nearly doubled over the past year and is expected to continue to grow at a compound annual growth rate of over 50 percent through 2008. Mergers and acquisitions involving email archiving, storage software and content management vendors are transforming the landscape of this emerging market. Demand will continue to be driven by the explosive growth in email and other electronic records, the increased regulatory environment and focus on corporate governance, and the need to respond to urgent litigation and discovery requests.
