Corvu Corporation Teams with Arbor Software to Integrate Olap and Business Performance Management Applications

CorVu Corporation, a Minneapolis-based provider of business intelligence solutions, announced an Essbase-Ready agreement with Arbor Software Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) software for management reporting, analysis and planning applications. The agreement will provide customers with tight integration between CorVu's integrated Business Intelligence and business performance management solutions and Arbor Essbase OLAP Server.

CorVu also announced its intent to support specific features in Arbor Essbase 5, unveiled at Dimensions '97, Arbor's International User Conference. Arbor Essbase 5 provides a strategic platform for enterprise OLAP by delivering high levels of performance in the areas of scalability, distributed architecture and OLAP application integration. CorVu plans to support features such as Linked Partitions and Linked Reporting Objects.
