Prism and Arbor Software Join Forces to Deliver
End-to-End Data Warehousing and Analytic Applications

Prism Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of solutions to deliver business intelligence applications, has announced an agreement to jointly market the Prism Executive Suite and Arbor Integration Server. Arbor Integration Server, announced separately by Arbor Software, is a suite of graphical tools and scalable data integration services that minimizes the time and expense required to create, deploy and manage analytic applications.
Arbor Integration Server supports custom, on-demand and packaged analytic applications by rapidly assembling reusable dimensions, hierarchies and calculation logic that are centrally maintained in a shared, enterprise OLAP meta data catalog. Arbor Integration Server makes it easy to combine the speed-of-thought query performance, rich calculation capability and analytic application breadth of Arbor Essbase OLAP Server with the scalability, extensibility and sophisticated data management capabilities of leading relational databases.
Together, the Prism Executive Suite and Arbor Integration Server provide an end-to-end solution for delivering business intelligence applications. The Executive Suite allows users to acquire, transform and integrate all of the data needed for warehousing databases. Prism's "Right Choice" architecture provides native access to all types of data, including relational and legacy sources as well as packaged applications such as SAP R/3.
Arbor Integration Server creates, deploys and manages sophisticated analytic applications from the data warehouses or marts built with the Executive Suite. With Arbor's data-driven OLAP management facility, users can quickly deploy analytic applications that automatically adapt to changes in the data warehouse. As new iterations of the warehouse are deployed, Arbor Integration Server makes it easy to map new data to dimensions and deliver it to analytic applications. Arbor Integration Server is currently in beta and is currently planned for availability later this year.
