BASE Consulting Group, LLC Announces Strategic Technology Consulting Practice Line

BASE Consulting Group, LLC, a leading provider of consulting and training services in the areas of Data Warehousing and Decision Support Systems (DSS), has announced the formation of their Strategic Technology Consulting (STC) practice line. The addition of this new practice line formally extends BASE's consulting services into the strategic management consulting arena. BASE's STC Group will focus on the delivery of consulting services in the areas of Business Analysis, Business Process Consulting, Software Selection, Strategic Business Systems Planning, and Temporary IS Management.

"We have been performing software selections and business process consulting for several years now," said Chris Wheaton, Managing Partner In-Charge of Professional Services at BASE. "With the increase in demand that we have seen in the past six months for this type of consulting service; however, we decided that it is time to formalize a practice line around it."

Dana Mason has been named Director of the new Strategic Technology Consulting practice line at BASE Consulting Group. Holding an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Ms. Mason has over eleven years of experience in information systems consulting, project management and systems/business analysis, with functional systems expertise which spans sales and marketing, quality assurance, finance and accounting. Ms. Mason's industry experience includes consumer goods manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing, and healthcare.

BASE Consulting Group, LLC provides information systems consulting and training services, as well as software reselling services to companies in a wide variety of industries. Other practice lines in BASE's consulting division are the "Information Access" practice line, which focuses on data warehousing and end-user reporting solutions, and the "Systems Integration" practice line, which focuses on implementations of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other business applications.
