Nestor, Inc. has announced the release of CampaignOne, an intelligent desktop campaign management system that combines Nestor's neural network technology with existing tools to understand and model customer behavior and use that information to implement targeted marketing campaigns. CampaignOne will help banks and other financial services organizations retain customers in an increasingly competitive environment and make prospecting for new customers more cost effective.
"In this competitive marketplace, banks and other financial services companies need to understand their customers' requirements so that they can create targeted marketing offers that will retain current customers, win new customers, and offer effective cross-selling opportunities to increase customer value," said Sushmito Ghosh, vice president of Financial Solutions at Nestor. "CampaignOne uses Nestor's sophisticated modeling techniques to understand and predict customer behavior. At the same time, we understand that each bank has its unique customer base and we offer the ability to tie institution-specific models into the software. CampaignOne's flexible software platform allows our clients to leverage their marketing expertise, tools and customer data to meet their needs with a click of a mouse."
Neural networks quickly recognize changes in customer behavior, for example low credit-card activity, and predict, based on Nestor's custom modeling techniques, a customer's changing relationship with the bank. Banks in turn can use this information to create meaningful marketing communications that are designed to meet customer needs and improve individual relationships with the bank or financial institution.
CampaignOne features an open architecture that enables marketers to utilize in-house models in conjunction with Nestor's neural network models and other third-party models to profile and understand consumer trends based on actual card transactions and cardholder account information. In combination with traditional rule-based strategies, CampaignOne can interpret subtle distinctions in customer behavior that can be used to predict future buying patterns.
CampaignOne utilizes a familiar Windows NT platform with a flexible strategy editor to bring data mining and marketing campaign efforts directly to the marketer's desktop. In addition, CampaignOne's scripting function allows for the importing and exporting of data, such as attrition, profitability, and bankruptcy models, from multiple sources. Given that consumer behavior changes over time, CampaignOne offers a closed-loop marketing system that continuously reports, assesses, and evaluates each marketing campaign. Through a series of extensive, self-generated reports, marketers can evaluate the success and return on investment of a single or series of campaigns and then refine their messaging or strategy in order to make the next communication more effective.
It is the flexible scripting that gives CampaignOne the ability to l everage online data. Web site "click-throughs" can be fed into CampaignOne to provide a coordinated marketing strategy and response. In near real-time, customer information collected via the Web can be incorporated into CampaignOne's modeling projects.
