CABLEDATA, LLOYDS TSB GROUP SELECT ETI`s DATA INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

ETI (Evolutionary Technologies International Inc.), an Austin software company that provides enterprise data integration management solutions, has announced that CableData Inc. and Lloyds TSB Group, Plc. recently selected the ETI EXTRACT Tool Suite as a major software component in their IT infrastructure. The addition of these clients strengthens ETI's presence in the global market, with more than 225 Fortune 1000 customers.

"The addition of CableData and Lloyds TSB increases our already significant market share in the telecommunications and financial services industries, two markets where we have achieved critical mass. We are pleased to add these two major players to our growing list of U.S. firms," said Kay Hammer, president and CEO of ETI.

"Many of our customers who utilize ETI's data integration management software expect tremendous time savings when building data warehouses and transferring data between incompatible systems thereby cutting costs, increasing corporate profitability and gaining a competitive advantage. In fact, most of our customers experience anywhere between a 30-100% improvement in productivity with ETI EXTRACT," Hammer said.

ETI EXTRACT produces all of the necessary programs to retrieve, transform, reorganize and move data from any data access system to any other while capturing a full metadata audit trail, regardless of hardware or software platform, in any programming language.

CableData is a leading provider of open billing systems, customer management software and complementary professional services to the global communications and utilities industries. Their clients include providers of cable television, wireless and wireline telephony, direct broadcast satellite, electricity, water, gas, waste management, utility and multiple services in more than 20 countries.

Lloyds TSB Group, the product of the joining of the Lloyds Bank and TSB, has some 2,700 branches, including over 500 abroad -- more than any other bank in England. With some 15 million customers, Lloyds TSB is responsible for more than 15% of all new mortgages issued in Britain.

"The ETI EXTRACT Tool Suite is the only commercially available technology today that can address the full spectrum of enterprise data integration needs from data consolidation and business intelligence to ERP and applications implementation," said Hammer. "And it does all of this while capturing comprehensive metadata about the entire data integration process."

"We evaluated several products, but came to the overwhelming conclusion that ETI EXTRACT was the only product that could meet our requirements," said Kim Pratt, director of Implementations for CableData. "We look forward to utilizing the software to consolidate data across our enterprise."

ETI's data integration management products are used by Fortune 1000 companies around the world to reduce time and cost while improving quality in projects such as ERP implementation, data consolidation and data warehouse development. Founded in January 1991, ETI was the first company to spin off from the MCC research consortium in Austin, Texas. ETI has regional offices in major U.S. cities and business operations in Europe, Canada and Australia.
