Fortune 500 Companies to Reveal IT Strategies At DCI's Data Warehouse and Knowledge Management Events

DCI's Data Warehouse Summit, the leading educational event for IT and business professionals, will feature a new conference program centered on a case-based approach. Running concurrently will be DCI's Knowledge Management (KM) Conference. These programs will feature presentations from global organizations including: Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Nabisco, Bank of America, American Airlines, Pacific Bell, The Coca-Cola Company, Harrah's Entertainment, American Family Insurance, AT&T, Shell EP International Ventures, Scientific-Atlanta, Protodigm, Ltd., Lucent Technologies, Chubb and Sons Insurance, The World Bank Group, PLATINUM technology, and Alliance Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri. The events will be held from March 9-11 at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, GA.

The Data Warehouse Summit and Knowledge Management Conference will feature three series of courses addressing data warehouse and knowledge management planning, construction, and advancement stages. The Fundamentals series will offer seven eight-hour sessions that cover strategies and tactics. Consisting of case-based sessions presented by the user, the Case-Based Solutions series will be supplemented by an in-depth briefing on the technical issues specific to each case. The Advanced Workshops series will feature full-day, interactive seminars conducted by the expert faculty.

The data warehouse event leadership faculty is comprised of industry luminaries, including: Technical Conference Chair Bill Inmon, founder, Pine Cone Systems; Strategic Conference Chair Aaron Zornes, executive vice president, application delivery strategies, META Group; Earl Hadden, principal consultant, Hadden & Company; Ronald Swift, assistant vice president, data warehouse solutions, NCR Corporation; Colin White, president, DataBase Associates International, Inc.; Sid Adelman, president, Sid Adelman & Associates; Herb Edelstein, president, Two Crows Corporation; Douglas Hackney, president, Enterprise Group, Ltd.; Usama Fayyad, senior researcher, Microsoft Research; Susan Osterfelt, senior vice president, Bank of America; and Ken Orr, principal, The Ken Orr Institute, Inc.
