Palo Alto Management Group (PAMG), publisher of the landmark Database Solutions study series, and leading market researcher World Research, Inc. of San Jose have reached an agreement to launch a consortium devoted to the research and study of trends and issues in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing markets.
"Our intention is to bring to our clients the most detailed and exhaustive research that is available anywhere in the world on a continuing basis," said Michael P. Burwen, PAMG's President. "World Research knows how to build, recruit and maintain very large survey panels in the IT industry and to survey those panels in an extremely efficient manner. We will capitalize on that expertise by applying it to the world of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Our clients want hard in-depth data based on primary research that is conducted worldwide. We intend to become the foremost provider of that information."

The PAMG collaboration will enable us to provide our clients with frontend analysis, forecasts, market research and promotional tools based on a data collection process designed by the best minds in the business."
The consortium's first project is entitled the "Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Research Program."
