Brio Technology Selected by Leading French Retailer Carrefour to Exploit its Distributed Data

Brio Technology Inc. has announced that it has been chosen by Carrefour, a leading French retailer, for the implementation of its business intelligence project in France. Extending Carrefour's data warehouse to end users throughout France, Carrefour employees will be able to process data and generate standard reports using a push button interface.

During the first phase of implementation, the Brio Enterprise software presents and analyzes sales, customer, and logistics data. Phase two of the implementation will expand to include analysis of sales operation, pricing and market information.

Carrefour was looking for a solution that was both easy to use and administer, yet would also meet the needs of the company's wide range of data warehouse users. After evaluation, Carrefour determined that Brio Enterprise was the best web solution on the business intelligence market.
