NEW RESEARCH CONSORTIUM TRACKS BUSINESS
INTELLIGENCE/DATA WAREHOUSING
World Research, Inc. has announced that, together with Palo Alto Management Group (PAMG), it has started the Consortium for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Research.
The Consortium's first project will be the 1999 Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Research (BI/DW) Program. Building on PAMG's prestigious DataBase Solution study series, the firms will cooperate to expand the program's scope to include additional research reports, expanded databases, and sophisticated analysis tools. The Consortium's goal is to become the leading provider of research-based information in the BI/DW space worldwide.
"World Research is well positioned to manage the BI/DW Program," said Michael P. Burwen, president of Palo Alto Management Group.
"It provided PAMG with top-notch data collection and tabulation services for the Database Solutions II project and it is very familiar with the program's data-driven research methodology. Its ability to grow the BI/DW Summit Panel of knowledgeable users, together with the ability to provide first-class analysis services, will make our clients extremely happy."
The BI/DW Summit Panel is a large group of BI/DW decision-makers with an interest in learning about BI/DW trends and issues in depth. World Research has extensive experience in online research techniques and panel development. It has developed a number of online panels for leading technology companies and new media publications. In 1998, World Research conducted over half a million online interviews at its domain http://survey.com.
Michael Bach, president of World Research, commented, "We are very excited to be joining with Palo Alto Management Group on this program. By combining their recognized leadership in the BI/DW market with our proven research methodology and leading edge online techniques, we hope to deliver a breakthrough in market research, analysis, forecasts, and promotion tools for both vendors and users in this market."
