Sequent Introduces Tools and Services to Speed Large Scale Siebel 99 Deployment


Sequent Computer Systems, a leader in Intel-based data center solutions, has announced a global competency center and a Deployment Manual for the Siebel 99 application suite to ensure rapid, successful implementation in complex, large-scale environments.

Part of Sequent's Contact Advantage program, the competency center and Deployment Manual offer performance, sizing and workload testing services and configuration guidelines that take the guess work out of Siebel 99 application deployment. Last month, Sequent unveiled a performance guarantee for Siebel 99 backed by up to $5 million in products and services.

The competency center and the Deployment Manual facilitate end-to-end deployment of Siebel 99 on the Sequent NUMACenter platform.
