Data Warehousing Implementers Tap Hyperion for Best Practices Insights that Maximize Return on Investment

With large numbers of corporate data warehousing initiatives driven by technology rather than business requirements, many are failing to provide actionable information and a measurable return on investment.

Recognizing this common pitfall, hundreds of information technology professionals joined Hyperion this week in an interactive Webcast, focused on delivering best practices insights for driving significant time and cost savings and maximizing the value of their data warehousing investments.

Hosted by Tobin Gilman, director of product marketing for Hyperion, and John Ladley, internationally recognized authority on data warehousing, the seminar drew data warehousing implementers, users and consultants across sectors such as aerospace, banking, consumer packaged goods, education, energy, financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications and transportation.

The event was the second in a series of interactive Webcasts sponsored by Hyperion on key trends in data warehousing, OLAP (online analytical processing) and analytic applications.

Drawing on extensive data warehousing consulting expertise and client interaction during his tenure at META Group, John Ladley's presentation encouraged implementers to engage users in every aspect of data warehouse deployment and maintenance, by:
