SPSS Software Tapped To Track Fraud For The Department Of Defense


Clementine software is now the latest weapon in the fight against fraud for the Department of Defense (DoD), SPSS Inc. announced recently. The Operation Mongoose Program, a partnership between various departments within the DoD, selected Clementine for its data mining projects and has acquired multiple software licenses to track fraudulent activity within DoD vendor pay transactions. This pilot program began in August 1999 and is scheduled to run until at least 2002.
