Pegasus Systems To Build Its First Hotel Chain Data Warehouse For Accor North America
Pegasus Systems, Inc. has announced that Pegasus Business Intelligence (formerly Driving Revenue and Pegasus IQ) is building a chain-wide data warehouse for Accor North America that houses and links all guest information from Accor's Novotel and Sofitel hotels in North America. Pegasus Business Intelligence specializes in database marketing and marketing information for the hotel industry and is operated by Pegasus Systems, a leading provider of hotel industry electronic commerce and transaction processing solutions. Accor North America, headquartered in New York, operates 16 Novotel and Sofitel hotels in the United States and Canada.
Under the agreement, Pegasus Business Intelligence will build and maintain a customer relationship management data warehouse and supply consulting and reporting services to Accor North America and its Novotel and Sofitel hotel brands.
The data warehouse will collect and consolidate guest folio history information from all Sofitel and Novotel North America properties, and using the data from the warehouse, Pegasus Business Intelligence will provide Accor North America with customized analysis reports. Armed with this information, Accor North America will be able to better analyze its customers, identify and target its primary feeder markets and more accurately measure the effectiveness of its advertising and marketing promotions. Accor North America will also use the information to effectively measure and manage its corporate accounts and to launch a new guest recognition program initiative and direct marketing campaign.
