Symmetry Health Data Systems And MEDai Begin Strategic Relationship

Symmetry Health Data Systems, Inc., has announced the signing of a new strategic relationship with Medical Artificial Intelligence (MEDai) of Orlando, Florida. Under the new relationship, MEDai will use Symmetry's patented Episode Treatment Group (ETG) software in a number of applications available to its clients. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We are delighted and excited that MEDai has chosen to be our strategic partner," said Mitch Portnoy, COO and co-founder of Symmetry. "With MEDai's status as the emerging high growth leader in the field of artificial intelligence, we are confident that this relationship will lead to improvements across the entire healthcare industry."

Andy Larkowich, COO of MEDai says using Symmetry's ETG 4.0 will help the company to continue its remarkable growth.

"The chief technological services we provided to our clients were data clean up, clinical decision support systems, and high risk patient prediction," says Larkowich. "By integrating ETG 4.0, we can now move to provide services across the entire continuum of care."

"We sought the relationship with Symmetry because of the quality and integrity of the product, the obvious penetration that ETGs have in the industry, and the fact that ETGs will effectively address and assist with our growth goals," said Larkowich.

Symmetry's patented ETG is an illness classification and episode building software product that captures all clinically relevant services and prescriptions provided during a patient's treatment, and organizes the data into episodes of care. ETG software is currently used by more than 250 managed health care plans and their providers across the United States.
