Microstrategy Swaps With NCR
This week, NCR and MicroStrategy announced a joint marketing and technology transfer agreement. NCR will resell MicroStrategy's business intelligence (BI) suite, and MicroStrategy will assume development of NCR's TeraCube, rolling the technology into MicroStrategy's BI suite. Both companies will push Strategy.com, MicroStrategy's online information provider service. In doing this, NCR unloads a costly development effort, while gaining a BI solution for its data warehouse (DW) deals. MicroStrategy gains another channel, particularly into DW sites. MicroStrategy's technology (along with Strategy.com) will also enable NCR to offer outsourced analytical services. For details, connect with http://www.metagroup.com/.
