Sagent Announces Full Native Support For IBM DB2 Universal Database


Sagent Technology, Inc., has announced the availability of Sagent Solution v4.1, which offers full native support for IBM's DB2 Universal Database. Sagent Solution v4.1 provides customers with a cost-effective, completely integrated, open platform that allows customers to leverage their existing DB2 Universal Database technology investments.

Sagent Solution v4.1 delivers the only open, scalable solution that addresses the complete life cycle for data warehousing and Web analytic application delivery. The solution now offers native support for IBM's DB2 Universal Database as a data source, target, and repository to build high-performance, scalable, Web-enabled applications. By integrating IBM's DB2 Universal Database management system, customers can now take advantage of the Sagent enterprise Web-enabled platform to access, analyze, and report on corporate data.

In a related announcement, Sagent formally launched Sagent Solution v4.1 with support for IBM's DB2 Universal Database, along with its enhanced functionality for Web-enterprise scaling and new Web reporting and analysis tools.
