Thazar Solutions Incorporates IBM Software In Business Intelligence Solution For Property And Casualty Insurance
Thazar Solutions Corporation has proclaimed general availability of release 2.1 of Thazar Business Intelligence Suite with integrated support of IBM's DB2 Universal Database and IBM's WebSphere Application Server for Web access. Thazar Business Intelligence Suite is a combination of data warehousing and decision support software and services that offers a data analysis and reporting solution for the insurance industry.
Thazar Solutions' Insurance Warehouse, the core information delivery infrastructure of the Business Intelligence Suite, gathers data from disparate legacy and current transactional systems into one single source for data analysis. The Insurance Warehouse, which is available on IBM's DB2 Universal Database, provides access to information necessary for insurance companies to make strategic business decisions. Another component of Thazar Business Intelligence Suite, Insure Marts, are populated by the Insurance Warehouse to support enhanced analysis and profiling by line of business, such as personal auto, homeowners, workers compensation, and corporate experience.
Thazar Solutions also offers Web-based business intelligence through Prophet Portal. For maximum efficiency and productivity, WebSphere has been chosen to support this Web-based application. With Thazar Solutions' information infrastructure and decision support applications in place, non-technical managers can use their company data to identify and target profitable customers, improve profitability, assess risk, manage claim costs, refine product pricing, and profile business.
