Leading business intelligence vendors, Informatica Corporation, BMC Software, and Pine Cone Systems have launched "New Strategies For High-Performance Data Warehousing," a series of free half-day seminars to be presented around the nation by industry luminary Bill Inmon that will highlight the latest in data warehousing strategies and methodologies.

Featuring live demonstrations and in-depth discussions of the features and benefits that come from building a data warehousing solution with technology from Informatica, BMC Software, and Pine Cone Systems, the seminar series is designed to help participants meet the ever-changing challenges of data movement, transformation, integration, analysis, and management. Topics will include improved quality and currency of data; efficient, high-performance change and bulk data propagation; flexible, quick-to-market and easy-to-build data marts and warehouses; and real-time tracking and reporting on the critical elements of data warehousing activity.

The seminar series' host, Bill Inmon, is widely recognized as the father of the data warehouse concept. Founder and chief technology officer of Pine Cone Systems, a data warehouse management company, Inmon has over 25 years of database technology management experience and data warehouse design expertise. He has also published more than 500 articles in major computer journals and 39 books which have been translated into nine languages.
