DataSage Founder, CEO Dave Blundin Named Top Innovator


DataSage, Inc. announced that its company founder and CEO, Dave Blundin, has been named one of 1999's Top 100 Young Innovators by Technology Review, MIT's "Magazine of Innovation."

Blundin joins an elite group of entrepreneurs and thought leaders under the age of 40 cited for their potential to make significant technological innovations in the 21st century. Judges include leaders from established and emerging companies, three Nobel Prize winners, well-known venture capitalists, CEOs, university presidents and prominent Massachusetts Institute of Technology faculty.

Technology Review announced the TR100 in conjunction with its 100th year of continuous publication. The publication is sponsoring a conference for honorees today at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, hosted by journalists Bill Moyers and Lesley Stahl.

In unveiling the TR100 list, Technology Review publisher and CEO R. Bruce Journey said: "We have chosen to honor potential as we celebrate our 100th anniversary. What distinguishes this award is that we are looking ahead into the next century and asking today's leaders to identify leaders of tomorrow."

Dave Blundin is a visionary in the fields of e-marketing, real-time individualization and Web-based data mining. He has led DataSage to its dominance as a provider of I-Marketing solutions that help e-businesses track and analyze real-time click-stream customer data to completely individualize advertising, promotions and marketing programs to millions of consumers. Blundin received his BS degree in Computer Science from MIT, where he did thesis research in data mining at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
