SPSS Uses Datamining To Predict Success For James Bond

Software company SPSS predicts that the new James Bond film, 'The World Is Not Enough', will be the most successful 007 film to date. The company has used data mining software to analyse historical data from the last 20 years of James Bond films, including details of Bond's girls, villains, gadgets, cars and 007s. The results show that the most popular films included a European beauty, a top of the range fast car and a comedy character, and to succeed in the UK, the film had to include British actors. SPSS says that the new film offers all these factors and therefore should become a success.
