Tarari Has Racor Sell Reconfigurable HPC Content Processor

Tarari Inc., the award-winning acceleration company, announced that Texas- based manufacturer's representative Racor Systems, Inc. will be selling the Tarari High Performance Computing Content Processor in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The reconfigurable Tarari High Performance Computing Content Processor offloads compute-intensive algorithms from servers, cluster nodes, and embedded processors, enabling companies to increase the available cycles in new and existing clustered computing applications as well as individual servers and processors. Racor Systems, with 20 years of experience in the embedded computing market, works with customers in the general industrial control, telecom, military, and oilfield equipment industries.

"There's a tremendous need for extreme acceleration in many of the markets we serve, including High Performance Computing," said Randy Hoffman, president of Racor Systems, "and with Tarari's technology, we will be able to offer our customers an extraordinary boost in performance while also controlling costs. This is what our customers are looking for."

"We are excited to have Racor Systems as one of our first partners in delivering High Performance Computing Content Processors to an eager and ever- expanding embedded High Performance Computing market," said Randy Smerik, president and CEO of Tarari, Inc. "Racor's experience and expertise will help us both expand market awareness and deliver solutions that will set a much higher performance bar for compute-intensive applications. Tarari will be appointing other partners in various regions and vertical markets throughout the United States in the next few months."

The Tarari High Performance Computing Content Processor includes many unmatched features such as advanced memory management, dynamic instantiation of multiple agents and a single-board construction that includes a patent- pending on-board cooling system. Because the Tarari High Performance Computing Content Processor is production-ready, time to market is dramatically reduced. Using Tarari High Performance Computing Content Processors, applications in a variety of fields, such as pattern recognition, seismic analysis, genomics and real-time processing of high volumes of data, can run at speeds well over 20- times faster than typical microprocessor-based systems.

About Content Processors

Improving performance using multiple processors has evolved from simple Beowolf clusters to today's high performance super clusters. Tarari High Performance Computing Content Processors snap into servers, cluster nodes and embedded processors servers to allow reconfigurable computation acceleration at much greater computation speeds than previously possible. The introduction of Content Processors, configured to perform the toughest portions of compute intensive algorithms, extends the power of HPC clusters and server-based applications.
