LIVEwire NEWS BRIEFS:

Juniper Platforms Provide Foundation For SCinet At SC2003

What: Juniper Networks T-series routing platforms -- the T640 and the T320 -- form the core scinet.supercomp.org, the network built to support the SC2003 High Performance Network and Computing Conference. Each routing platform is populated with high-speed (10 Gigabits per second) SONET and Ethernet interfaces and demonstrates the ability of the T-series routing platforms to perform and interoperate in a high performance multivendor network. All SC2003 network traffic, including supercomputer applications being run by researchers participating in the SC2003, will transit Juniper Networks routing platforms, which provide leading performance, security and scale.

Juniper Networks will be exhibiting in Booth #1913 demonstrating its new M7i routing platform designed to deliver security and performance to small and medium sized network environments, campus networks and managed services environments.

When: Nov. 17-20.

Where: SC2003 International Conference for High Performance Computing and Communications, Phoenix Civic Plaza Convention, Phoenix.
