Job Bank Guidelines:

One Job Title is permitted per listing. Each listing runs in four consecutive issues and two newslett mailings. Minor copy changes are permitted in repeat insertions.

Job Bank is a prepaid section of HPCwire. A standard Job Bank (20 lines of text) ad is $600.00. Each additional line will be charge at the rate of $35.00 per line. (Multi ad package standards vary)

Job listings must be received via softcopy and in its final form. Job listing insertion should be emailed to: jobs@hpcwire.com.

Job Bank Specifications:

Indicate which category and region you would like your listing to appear:

1. Research/Academic or Commercial/Industrial.
2. USA, Europe or Asia.

Each ad should be in its final form and submitted in the following manner:

1. Compose a Heading: Position Title Company Name
   Geographic Location
2. Compose Body copy in text format (ASCII). Up to 20 lines of text to 70 character-spaces wide, describing the position and giving contact information (names, postal mailing address, email address, phone/fax numbers, etc.).

In recent years, the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers University has attained recognition as a department of leading international stature. One important component of this growth has been the development of computer infrastructure. In particular, the department has had a Supercomputer Remote Access Center for fourteen years, and has just started a Distributed High Performance Computing Facility (DHPC). The open position is for an individual who can assume responsibility for this DHPC, and provide support for Rutgers researchers in utilizing HPC facilities at the national supercomputer centers. This job requires extensive experience in scientific programming and experience with high performance computing. A Master's degree or higher in a natural science or engineering is required. The job entails cooperation with researchers, with other computer staff in the Department, and with other staff in the Rutgers DHPC project and in national supercomputer centers.
