Through the Corporate Affiliates Program at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, the same computing power used to conduct award winning scientific research helps businesses solve their most challenging information-processing problems. Since every organization has different needs, the program provides flexible support options that combine training, consulting and access to advanced computational resources to meet the specific requirements of each affiliate.

For over 15 years, PSC has been among the world's leading centers in developing and deploying the latest HPC technology. At PSC, making efficient and practical use of this technology has always been an important metric, and users consistently praise the quality of PSC service and support.

With the ground-breaking Terascale Computing System, a massively parallel cluster of over 3000 processors, capable of six teraflops peak performance, PSC is again setting a pace for others to follow. When deployed later this year, the TCS will not only provide Corporate partners with an unprecedented computational resource, but also will give them the opportunity to leverage PSC's experience with this system to add advantage to their own cluster implementations.

Contact PSC today to discuss a customized program, including the following:

  • Practical, experience-based assistance in formulating and deploying cluster technology, including scheduling, monitoring, security and archival storage;
  • Training and consulting in various areas including network engineering, parallel programming and applications, and other topics designed to meet user needs;
  • Collaborative research and model development in specific application areas, e.g., biomedicine, material science, etc.;
  • Access to HPC services including machine cycles, mass storage and networking.
