The San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), located on the campus of UC San Diego in La Jolla, California, is a national leader in computational science and engineering. SDSC is the lead site for the National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (NAPCI), which provides advanced computing and networking resources to the national research community. In addition to the NPACI program, SDSC also conducts robust original research in computing technology and computational sciences. We are currently seeking energetic and innovative professionals for the following senior management positions:

Executive Director, SDSC Research and Programs Responsible for oversight of research and programmatic activities for much of SDSC involving ~300 employees and over $50M/year. Serve on leadership team, providing top-level direction and management. Lead coordination and outreach efforts at the campus, community, state, national and international levels. Keep broader computational science and technology community involved in SDSC activities. Job # 24264

Program Director, Development and Communications Responsible for with two key functions. First, the planning, development, and execution of a comprehensive 'cultivation and solicitation program' to recruit external resources of funding and endowments. Secondly, to develop and implement a strategic communications and marketing program to build the image of SDSC regionally, nationally, and internationally. Job # 26231

Grid Development and Deployment Group Leader. Salary Range: $52,700 - $110,800/year. Serve as lead of the newly formed Grid Development and Deployment Group under the San Diego Supercomputer Center's Grid and Cluster computing program (4 groups: Cluster Development, Grid Research, Grid Portals Architecture, Grid Development). Provide technical leadership; setting overall technical direction, budget management, hiring and personnel management of the development and deployment group. Design and implement grid-based tools that support the overall objectives of the NPACI (National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure) and the newly awarded TeraGrid.
