Circulation Manager

Tabor Communications Inc. is seeking an energetic, forward-thinking individual
to lead the circulation department for its online and offline publications.
The perfect candidate for this management position must possess relevant
experience in developing and implementing circulation programs that generate
inquiries and attract new subscribers while retaining existing ones. The
position is tasked with developing a circulation forecast and budget, creating
sales diversification strategies as well as, developing and maintaining
external vendor relationships.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets as set in the annual budget;
- Manage and implement circulation sales programs;
- Develop and maintain retention and renewal programs;
- Plan, implement and analyze all circulation marketing campaigns;
- Identify new circulation opportunities;
- Explore ways to grow circulation through alliances and partnerships;
- Create competitor and market analysis;
- Manage expense budget and develop forecasts.
The ideal candidate will be creative, enthusiastic and detail oriented, with
strong analytical skills. This individual must possess the interpersonal
skills to communicate across department lines as well as technical expertise
in marketing and sales. At least three years of publishing experience in both
online and print circulation management is required.
The Circulation Manager occupies a central role in the company and will report
to the Director of Marketing, working with marketing, editorial and sales.
