CalIT2 is an organized research unit at the University of California, San Diego. We are currently seeking a Sr. Level Software Engineer with a focus on web services design and development for Calit2 research programs. This advanced software development and integration position is within the Academic Professional's research group at Calit2 and it will focus on web and grid services in support of various distributed systems projects. Duties will include evaluating next generation technologies and integrating them into existing production systems. This position requires excellent problem solving skills and the ability to describe the configuration and operation of software systems in a clear, systematic way.

Salary range: 48.6K-85.9K.
